Claybook is a physics based puzzle game where players are tasked with navigating clay objects through a clay environment while attempt to complete various goals. As in real life, when you start smashing clay on clay you're left with a pretty fun mess.

I played through the first eight levels of Claybook and for the most part had a relaxing time. Playing in this sandbox creates an almost ASMR-like atmosphere. Especially as you carve and destroy a perfectly built clay landscape watching all of the colors blend.

The challenges were rather simple and were solvable in multiple ways. The most stand out frustration I found was from the camera which always seemed to move on its own causing the direction of my object to change against my will. You can clean up most of your mistakes however with a helpful rewind feature.

There are creative modes available which I have yet to try but I can't say I'm necessarily inclined to. I don't think I will be going back to play much more but you may like it if you are looking for something super relaxing to hangout with for a couple hours.
